Jefferson West art students are Big Seven League Champions

Jefferson West art student are Big Seven League Champions. The League Art Show was held in Hiawatha on Thursday, May 8th. The show was judged by Cindy Bicker and Pat Steinman. Jeff West art teacher commented “It is exciting to see so many students get recognition for the all hard work they done. We have a very creative group of students lead by a group of outstanding senior leaders.” Thirty of the forty works of art received award. Senior Emma Brink received one of the two Best of Show awards for her acrylic painting, ‘6^th & Main. Four students are League Champions out of the sixteen categories. Jeff West students also received six silver medals, five bronze medals and fourteen honorable mention awards
