Family Fun

Family Fun & Fitness Night was held April 5th at the district track. More than 135 students and parents participated in a variety of activities facilitated by Jeff West High School students. Although the weather was quite windy everyone that participated appeared to have a good time. Many participants wore pedometers to record the number of steps they took throughout the evening, with many surprised at the movement they had during the activities. Refreshments included water, furnished by the Jefferson Assembly of God church, and a variety of fruit and cheese snacks provided by the Jeff West Health committee. This was the third of three Family Fun & Fitness Nights sponsored by the district's Health committee. Turnout for these events continues to grow and the committee looks forward to hosting additional family fitness evenings next school year.
