JW Prepares to Host Students from Germany

JW prepares to host students from Germany.
For the third consecutive year, Jeff West will participate in an exchange program with students from Germany. Fifteen students and two sponsors from Bebra Germany are preparing for a visit to our school and community on September 16 through 28. The students live with host families from our community in order to immerse these students in our culture. Hosting these students offers a wonderful opportunity for our American families to learn more about the German culture and lifestyle. The students from Germany have strong English speaking skills, so host families do not need to speak German. We are currently looking for families to host an exchange student. If you are interested being a host, contact Mr. Mark Ralston at the high school.
The German exchange program at Jeff West will then offer a unique opportunity for our high school students to spend 10 days living with host families in the Bebra community. We are currently planning to take approximately 15 students to Germany during the spring semester this school year. Watch for more information posted on this web site and SchoolReach phone service as the dates are finalized.
