Late Start

On rare occasions, it may be prudent for the school district to
delay the running of buses due to inclement weather or some other
unforeseen reason.
On those occasions where we start school later, we anticipate that
the majority of students who normally ride the bus would ride the
bus to school at the designated time. If necessary, parents will be
able to drop their children at their school of attendance
(Elementary, Intermediate, Middle, or High School) any time after
7:35 AM.
Intermediate School students who ride the shuttle bus to school may
be dropped off at the Elementary School if necessary, and they will
ride the shuttle bus to Ozawkie. Students will be supervised in all
buildings.
For children who need to be dropped off early, a cold breakfast
will be available, if desired, at the normal cost. Classes will
start at the time indicated by the late start announcement. (i.e.,
if buses run 1 hour late, classes will start at 9 AM; if buses run
two hours late, we will start at 10 AM).
We hope this information will be helpful in your planning in the
event we have to initiate a late start of the school day.
