TheaterMiddle School Art; Theatre & Photography provides some elective choices for Jeff West students.

In Art, the students will study the elements and principles of art and apply them to their own major projects. Students use the mediums of pencils, paints, crayons, markers, and air dry clay: as well as experimenting with negative space with scratch boards.

With Theatre, the students will study about theatre history and terminology for the stage, including stage directions and movement. Students may also have the opportunity to work on and assist with the high school plays.

Photography provides students a chance to learn the power of the still image by studying the history of photography from the past 100 years. The class gives them hands on experience in the darkroom with the photographic process and finishes with the construction of their own pin hole box camera which they will use to complete their own photographic assignments
