Meriden, KS- USD 340 proudly announces the selection of Mrs. Haley Dean, District Director of Curriculum, Instruction, Testing and Accreditation effective July 1st, 2023.
Haley Dean has been an educational leader and influencer for the past 14 years. She received her B.A. in Education from Washburn University and her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Baker University. In her 14 years as a classroom teacher, she has taught secondary social studies, language arts, and math. Haley has served on a variety of building and district-wide leadership teams. She has also been at the forefront of the design and implementation of curriculum programs in the schools she has served. Haley has lived in the Jefferson West community for the last 10 years with her husband and 4 children. She has been a teacher at Jeff West Middle School for 7 years and looks forward to taking on a new role within the district. As the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, Testing and Accreditation, Haley is eager to share her breadth of knowledge and instructional experience with the students and staff at Jeff West to ensure a quality curriculum that is appropriate and relevant, while keeping up with the latest trends in education.
