----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------State Testing: 3rd and 4th graders will be testing again on April 18th and 20th for math. Please continue to help your child be successful by making sure they get a good night’s rest, eat a good breakfast, and be on time to school.
JW All-School Carnival: It’s the last week to send in the pink sheet for a wristband! Also, baked goods (Kindergarten), sodas/Gatorades (1st and 3rd Grade), and movie theater candy (2nd and 4th) can be dropped off to the office by NEXT FRIDAY, April 21st!! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!
Fine Arts Night: Please join us for Fine Arts Night on April 26th at 4:00 P.M. There will be opportunities to see the K-4th Grade Art, to learn to folk dance, read a walking story book, participate in a scavenger hunt, make art, and much much more! Don’t forget to fill out an attendance form (received when you get here) for a chance to win prizes!
Field Trips: Lots of field trip are just around the corner. A couple of reminders beforehand from the handbook: Students must be in good standing, both academically and in their behavior to attend. Children MUST ride the bus to and from the field trip. Parents who wish to transport their children after the field trip must sign waivers. The teachers will have these. Students leaving a field trip PRIOR to 1:00 P.M. will be counted as ½ day absent. Siblings or other children are not to attend as the trip is for the students at that grade level.
Medication Reminder for the End of the School Year:
- The school cannot keep medication over the summer.
- All medication must be picked up prior to the last day of school or the parent or guardian must make arrangements if the medication cannot be picked up.
- Any medication not picked up by the end of the school year will be destroyed.
