Note from the Nurses: As students return to school, it's common to see an increase in seasonal illnesses like colds, stomach bugs, and viruses. To help keep everyone healthy, please remember: students must be fever-free, and free from vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school. This helps prevent the spread of illness and ensures your child is ready to fully participate in class.
Classroom Snacks: All treats brought to school for ANY party, need to be store bought and remain prepackaged. Please do not open the package to decorate. Thank you for keeping our students safe from allergens.
Water Bottles: We are having lots of spilled water bottles at school. Please ensure that your child’s water bottle has ONLY water in it, is spill proof, and that the lid is not cracked/broken. In addition to that, we encourage water at school but if your child comes to school with a drink that is not water (Boone & Bounty, EstablishFit, etc) they will have to finish it in the lunchroom before going to class. Thank you for your help!
JWES Handbook: Reminder, the handbook can be found on our website under the “About JWES” tab. If you need a printed copy of the handbook let the office know.
Attendance: If your child is going to be absent from school, please notify the office by 9:00 A.M. Please remember to drop off or send a note for any type of doctor’s appointment (dentist, therapy, urgent care, etc.) Afternoon transportation changes need to be reported to the office via planner or phone call by 2:30 P.M. Thank you for your active participation!
