JWES Blue Ribbon Open House: WE ARE BLUE RIBBON! Please join us in celebrating Jeff West Elementary receiving the National Blue Ribbon Award! We will be holding an open house Tuesday, November 18th from 5-6:30 P.M. and everyone's invited! Come tour our school, have cake, and meet the staff. We can't wait to celebrate with family, friends, and our community!
Stuff the Bus: At the home basketball game on December 5th, we’ll have a small bus parked in front of the high school, and we will be collecting non-perishable food donations. We’re also offering a “seat sponsor” option: Silver Sponsor – $25 or Gold Sponsor – $50. Seat sponsors will receive a game time shout-out! All proceeds and donations will benefit God’s Storehouse in Meriden.
Sprinkles and Frosting: Thank you all for your donations so far! For Winter Read Night on December 4th, we have participants decorate sugar cookies and we are still in need of more sprinkles and frosting! You can send your donations with your students or drop off at the elementary school office.
ES Food Pantry Donation: This November, we’re joining together to give back! All funds raised will be donated to God’s Storehouse to help purchase food pantry items for families in need this season. Students can donate $1 per week or $3 total to participate in our themed dress-up days! Friday, Nov. 7 – Sunglasses Day, Friday, Nov. 14 – Hat Day, Friday, Nov. 21 – PJ Day. To participate, students must pay the required fee. Please place the payment in an envelope labeled with your student’s name and teacher’s name, then send it in their folder or attach it inside their planner. Let’s make November warm, fun, and full of kindness as we support our community together!
