Pancake Feed – The Meriden/Ozawkie Chamber of Commerce Pancake Feed is March 7th from 7AM-11AM in the ES cafeteria! The Pancake Feed is one of the Chamber’s most important fundraisers to Jeff West Graduate scholarships! Support our local students by attending the Pancake Feed and catching up with our community members! While you’re there stop and visit Mr. Sturgeon for information on kindergarten and preschool round up!
Kindergarten Round-Up – Please call the JWES office if your child is turning FIVE on or before August 31, 2026. Your name will then be placed on the list to receive information on how to sign up for an appointment. If you happen to know a 5-year-old, please be sure to pass this information along to their parents. Thank you for your help!
Preschool Round-Up – Will be March 30th by appointment only. Come to our Preschool Roundup to learn about our program, meet our dedicated teachers, and tour our classrooms! Children must be 3 or 4 years old by August 31. For more information call the preschool at 785-484-2631.
Kindergarten Grandparent’s Day – will be March 26th! Grandparents/Grandfriends may arrive to the school at 1:15. We will have activities from 1:30 to 2:30. At that time, if the parent has signed a permission slip, grandparents may leave with their grandchild. We also ask that it ONLY be the kindergartener, and no siblings, as it is their special day. Siblings will go home at their normal time and in their normal way. Grandparents may plan on picking up siblings on their special day. We appreciate your cooperation.
