Kindergarten NO SCHOOL – Our kindergarten teachers are facilitating the screening of next year’s kindergarten students on Monday, April 13, 2026. In effort to best facilitate this process we will not have school for Kindergarten students on Monday, April 13, 2026, as noted on the District Calendar. Thank you for your understanding. Kindergarten will resume on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Kindergarten Round-Up – We are still adding to our list! Please call the JWES office if your child is turning FIVE on or before August 31, 2026. Your name will then be placed on the list to receive information on how to sign up for an appointment. If you happen to know a 5-year-old, please be sure to pass this information along to their parents. Thank you for your help!
District Wellness Night – Will be April 7th from 5:30-7:30 PM at Anderson Park at Lake Ridge Estates. Dinner is covered! There will be hotdogs, chips, fresh veggies, and S’mores by the fire! This fun evening will also include a scenic family hike, exploring the playground, outdoor games and activities for all ages. Let’s get moving together, Tigers!
State Testing – It is that time of year already! State testing for 3rd and 4th graders will kick off April 7th with a yummy breakfast provided by JWES. Then they will be testing April 8th, 9th, 14th, and 16th. Please make sure your child gets a good night sleep, shows up to school on time, and has a good breakfast!
