What a great first week of school, Tigers! We were excited to see all the new AND returning faces this year. We look forward to watching your children learn and grow this school year. Here are a couple reminders:

1. Weekly bulletins will be sent home every Friday with your child. They will also be posted on our district website: www.usd340.org

2. When sending money to the school for lunches/milk, please make checks payable to USD 340 and have your child’s name on the memo. If sending cash, please put the cash in a sealed envelope and write “lunch money” and your child’s name on the outside of the envelope.

3. If your child will be absent for the day, please put it into PickUp Patrol by 9:00 A.M. stating the reason he/she is not in school. If proper notification is not received by 9:00 A.M., the student will receive an unexcused absence for the day

4. If your child will miss school for a doctor’s appointment, please provide the school with a doctor’s note.

5. Please be mindful of our limited parking and security measures we must take to keep our children safe. When dropping your child(ren) off in the morning, we encourage you to use the car lane. If you need to walk your child to the door, we ask that you utilize the “hug zone” just outside of the school doors at the red line. If you have a bill to pay or delivery to make, you’re welcome to come into the building.

6. Late start days for the 2026-2027 school year will be: September 11^th, October 16^th, November 20^th, January 15^th, February 12^th, April 9^th, and May 14^th. On these days, buses and breakfast will run 2 hours late, the doors will open at 9:30 A.M., and classes will begin at 10:00 A.M. Please plan accordingly. Thank you!

Note from the nurses: Please be vigilant about turning in your physicals and immunizations, if you have not already done so. An exclusion date will be coming, and we want to ensure all students remain in class. Thank you.
