Water Bottles: We are having lots of spilled water bottles at school. Please ensure that your child’s water bottle has ONLY water in it, is spill proof (no straws), and that the lid is not cracked/broken. Thank you for your help!

Attendance/Transportation: Please communicate transportation changes or absences with the office, either in Pick Up Patrol or by calling the office directly at 785-484-2455.  Please make every effort to inform the office of absences by 9:00am. If we do not receive notification (via Pick Up Patrol or phone call) of transportation changes, your child will be sent to his/her original destination.  Please make every effort to communicate transportation changes prior to 2:30 P.M. to ensure your child receives the message in a timely manner.

Classroom Snacks: All treats brought to school for ANY reason, need to be store bought and remain prepackaged. Please do not open the package to decorate. Thank you for keeping our students safe from allergens.

Note from the Nurses: As students return to school, it’s common to see an increase in seasonal illness like colds, stomach bugs, and viruses. To keep everyone healthy, please remember: students must be fever-free, and free from vomiting and diarrhea for at least 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school. This helps prevent the spread of illness and ensures your child is ready to fully participate in class.

October 9th -                End of 1st Quarter – ES will dismiss @ 11:45 A.M. Busses will run as normal.
