AR Read Night: We are very excited to be hosting AR Read Night on Wednesday, October 7th! This will be held in the Elementary School library from 4:30 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. A few things to note – this is open to students in 1st through 4th grade, students MUST be accompanied by an adult, books must be within student’s reading rage, parents can read the book and questions on the AR test to their child, but cannot help the student answer the questions, picture books must be read twice before taking the test, 1st grade will read the blue dot books. Come out for a fun evening of AR reading and testing!
Attendance/Transportation: Please communicate transportation changes or absences with the office, either in Pick Up Patrol or by calling the office directly at 785-484-2455. Please make every effort to inform the office of absences by 9:00am. If we do not receive notification (via Pick Up Patrol or phone call) of transportation changes, your child will be sent to his/her original destination. Please make every effort to communicate transportation changes prior to 2:30 P.M. to ensure your child receives the message in a timely manner.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: They are right around the corner! October 21st will be a regular school day and conferences will be held from 3:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. On October 22nd there will be no school and conferences will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 6:30 P.M. In addition to that, on October 23rd there will be NO school.
