If we do not receive a note in the planner or a phone call at the front office when there is a destination change, your child will be sent to his/her original destination. For the safety of your child, please call prior to 2:45 P.M. to ensure your child receives the message in a timely manner.
Harvesters: We continue to have sign up for the Back Snack Program. If you would like your child to receive a bag of child friendly food on Fridays, please fill out the yellow sheet sent home with your child and return it to school next week. Food distribution begins in October.
Please do not let your child’s lunch account go negative. All checks for lunches need to be payable to USD 340. Please write your child’s name on a check on the ‘memo’ line. You are also able to use your debit/credit card and pay through your Skyward account. (There is a fee for this service.) If sending cash, please put the money in an envelope and write your child’s name on the envelope. The cost of a student lunch is $3.15 and breakfast is $1.90. Kindergarten snack milk is not covered by the free and reduced lunch program. Reminder of our unpaid Meal Policy is accounts that are over $20 NEGATIVE will receive a peanut butter & jelly sandwich (not an uncrustable) for lunch if they order lunch from us. They are not to get breakfast.
Announcement from 4-H: Hey Parents! October is just around the corner and that means enrollment month for 4-H!!! A project display will be coming to the elementary school along with a "Guess how many" candy game! Stay tuned for more information on how to join 4-H and local club information, which will follow shortly!
