Important Halloween Information: All treats brought to school, need to be store bought and prepackaged. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and keeping our children safe from food allergies. Please do not open the package to decorate the treats at home. The students will be in class learning until 1:45 p.m. Parents can start signing in at 1:30 p.m., but will not be able to go to the classroom until 1:45. Parties will start at 2:00. In addition, we are asking that all parents leave the school building at 2:30 so we can line the students up for the parade. The parade will begin at 2:40. The parade will go down Main Street to the Post Office, turn around and come back to the elementary school. *The parade will be cancelled if it is raining or the temperature is below 45 degrees* For the safety of all the children, following the parade, all students Kindergarten through 4^th will reenter the building prior to any parents coming inside. Once the students are safely in their classrooms, we will open the front door and parents may go to their child’s classroom and sign them out. COSTUME REMINDER: In accordance with school policies, we will follow the guidelines of NO replica of weapons: firearms, knives, swords, chains, clubs, pitchforks, or anything that could be used as a weapon. No roller blades will be allowed. No pets of any kind will be allowed. Stay tuned for further information regarding classroom parties.

 Thanksgiving Dinner: Our holiday dinner will be Thursday, November 17^th. If you would like to eat with your child, reservations MUST be made and MUST be sent to the elementary school with PREPAYMENT no later than November 4^th. Please check your child’s folder for the sign up sheet and cost. NO REFUNDS.

 Veteran’s Day: Mark your calendar: We will be having a Veteran’s Day celebration on Thursday, November 10^th at 9:30 A.M. in the gym. All active members of the Armed Services and veterans are invited to attend the assembly. Students with military guests will sit with them in special reserved seating. We welcome any veterans to attend the assembly too.
