Today we had "Part Two" of our Crystal Apple Award Assembly. Last year, Mr. Sturgeon was nominated by his wife to receive the Crystal Apple for the month of May. Upon winning, Magic 107.7 came to present the award. With this winning, comes a second part of the competition. Out of the 12 nominees of the year, the radio station will select one winner to receive $1000.
Fast forward to December, we received news that JWES had been selected to receive the $1000.00. Can you believe it?! They mentioned that the assembly they attended back in May was the best thing they had seen all year! Every ounce of Tiger Pride was felt that day. We are beyond proud of Mr. Sturgeon for standing out above the rest. The energy brought into this school by him on a daily basis is unmatched.
Mr. Sturgeon has promised the children an ice cream party!
