USD 340 Board of Education came together with community members tonight to discuss one of their board goals - Facilities. Administration, members from the district leadership team, facilities team, and several patrons were in attendance while they discussed concerns about our facilities. They also discussed strategies on how to tackle each one of the concerns. On behalf of the Board of Education, we would like to thank you all for your time!

TWO HOUR DELAY - JANUARY 10TH - Due to road conditions, Jefferson West USD 340 will have a two hour delay on Friday, January 10th. This will allow students more time to drive in safely, as well as the bus drivers ability to drive with the sun shining. Classes will begin at 10:00, doors will open at 9:30. Be safe, Tigers!

Winter has arrived! The first day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere is marked by the winter solstice, which occurs Saturday, December 21, at 3:20am CST.
Please remember the Teddy Bear Toss at tonight's High School basketball games! EVERYONE is welcome to participate. Register your bear at the SADD table, toss it at halftime of the boys' varsity game and you could win a $25 gift card of your choice. Make Jefferson West proud and help children in need!
REMINDER: School will dismiss at 11:45 A.M. on Friday, December 20th. Busses will run like normal at that time. Please have transportation ready if your child is a car rider. Transportation changes will need to be reported to the office by 10:00 at 785-484-2455 or in your child's planner. Thank you for a fantastic 1st semester!!
