We are so thankful for our community! We asked, and you sure delivered. Our sprinkle supply is over the top for cookie decorating! However, we are in need of more tubs of frosting so the sprinkles don't slide off the cookies. 😉 Please let us know if you have any questions. You're Invited to the Jefferson West Elementary School Winter Read Night!!
December 1st, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Some of the events include: Sugar cookie decorating, BINGO for books, holiday crafts, Christmas carols, flashlight reading, and games.
Santa and Mrs. Clause will even be reading a story!! We expect this to be our best year yet! Come join us in all the Winter Reading fun. Can't wait to see you!
Thank you Minner family and Sam's Club for the very generous donation of classroom snacks! Jenny and Chuck matched Sam's Club's donation of 15 tubs of animal crackers and pretzels, for a total of 30 tubs! We sure are spoiled here at JWES.

🎃REMINDER FOR HALLOWEEN🎃: All treats that are brought to school, including Halloween treats, need to be store bought and prepackaged. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and keeping our children safe from food allergies. Please do not open the package to decorate the treats at home. The students will be in class learning until 1:45 p.m. Parents can start signing in at 1:30 p.m., but will not be able to go to the classroom until 1:45. Parties will start at 2:00. In addition, we are asking that all parents leave the school building at 2:30 so we can line the students up for the parade. The parade will begin at 2:40. The parade will go down Main Street to the Post Office, turn around and come back to the elementary school. *The parade will be cancelled if it is raining or the temperature is below 45 degrees* For the safety of all the children, following the parade, all students Kindergarten through 4th will reenter the building prior to any parents coming inside. Once the students are safely in their classrooms, we will open the front door and parents may go to their child’s classroom and sign them out.
In accordance with school policies, we will follow the guidelines of NO replica of weapons: firearms, knives, swords, chains, clubs, pitchforks, or anything that could be used as a weapon. No roller blades will be allowed. No pets of any kind will be allowed. 👻
