REMINDER: School will dismiss at 11:45 A.M. on December 20th, and busses will run like normal at that time. Please have transportation ready if your child is a car rider. Transportation changes will need to be reported to the office by 10:00 at 785-484-2455 or in your child's planner.

Today we received a visit from JW Lakeside Singers. We appreciate you coming and allowing us to sing along! With everybody wearing their Santa and Elf hats, the Christmas magic filled the air. Thank you again, Lakeside Singers and Mr. Dziewior!
REMINDER: Tomorrow is Ugly Sweater/T-Shirt Day!
😲 I meeeaaannn, it wasn't a competition, but we feel like we need to give a big Tiger shout-out to Rori in Mrs. Towne's 2nd grade class for the most Holiday Spirit today!! Rori came decked out in her red and green for a friendly competition within their own classroom. As luck would have it, she beat down the entire school! Way to go, girl! Enjoy that candy from Mrs. Towne. 🎄
3rd Grade Grandparent's Day will take place on December 14th.
We invite all 3rd-grade grandparents and grand-friends to visit their grandchildren at the elementary school at 1:30 P.M. You may start signing in at 1:15. We will not be able to dismiss your grandchild with you unless we have been given permission (per the slip sent home). We do ask that you only take the 3rd grader, as the other grandchildren will get their special time on another date.
We also ask that you come back and join us at 7:00 P.M. for a wonderful concert that they have put on for you. If you are not able to make it, just follow the link below to stream it live.

Join us for Winter Read Night! This Thursday, December 7 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. As there are outdoor activities, we encourage students and family members to bring warm clothing. Cookie decorating, stories from Mr. and Mrs. Clause, games, and hay rack riding will be included!! We can't wait to see you there!
