Jefferson West AG Ed Greenhouse is preparing for their annual plant sale. We are taking pots to fill for you any time now. We refill them and hold them until the end of the month so you are ready to place them out, ready to display but letting us do the work to make them beautiful. Mr. Buss is in the Ag building daily from 8-11 and 12:30-3:30 for you to drop them off.
The FFA Greenhouse will be opening soon!! The first day of sales to the public will be Saturday, April 20, from 1-4pm. We will be open during school hours (8-11am and 12:30-3:30pm) after that point. If there are plants still here, we will have another Saturday sale on April 27 from 9am-12Noon. We will have both annual flowers and vegetable plants for sale.
Please come and support our ag program and students that have had such a large impact in producing these plants for you.
A few reminders;
Tomorrow Thursday March 28th we will be doing a hat day fundraiser for AJ Waters. Students may wear a hat if they donate a dollar to help support the Waters family.
Heidi Petesch has offered to provide ice cream sandwiches to the grade level that raises the most money.
Ms. Savanna is making decals to raise money for the family as well, please see the attached order form to place your order.

Want to be a Jefferson West High School Cheerleader next school year? If so, there will be a pre-tryout meeting on Tuesday, 3/26, at 6pm at the High School. Dr. Brad Neuenswander is hosting a presentation, School Budgets 101. He invites and welcomes all staff, community members, patrons, and any students to this basic school budget workshop. Please feel free to extend this invitation with others that would be interested in learning more about school budgets and how they operate. There will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 20, from 6-8pm, at JWHS Library to attend this informative event. There is no need to register, just plan to attend.

THEY DID IT!!! The Jefferson West High School Girls Basketball team is headed to play in the SUB-STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!! They play Hayden in Royal Valley (Hoyt) tomorrow night, Saturday, March 2nd. Tip-off is 6:30pm.

Remember...Friday, March 1, is Late Start! Busses will run one hour later, classes begin at 9am. The Washburn Tech bus will run as usual.
Tuesday, March 5th, is Family Wellness Night. The location has been changed to the High School.
The High School group, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), has been working with our District Nurse, Abby Martin, and the Wellness Committee to bring a special presentation to our community. Students, parents, staff, and all community members are welcome to attend.
