On this day, our planet reaches a perfect cosmic balance: day and night are nearly equal all around the world.
For those in the Northern Hemisphere, this marks the beginning of astronomical autumn - a season of golden leaves, crisp air, and longer nights under starry skies. Meanwhile, in the Southern Hemisphere, spring awakens with longer days and new life returning.
Equinoxes have been celebrated for thousands of years as symbols of harmony and renewal. From ancient monuments aligned with the Sun to harvest rituals, they remind us of our deep connection with the cosmos.
Take a moment today, September 22, 2025, to enjoy the balance of light and darkness.

Patriot Day is a United States national observance that honors the memory of those who were killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93, as well as the first responders and others who died or were injured during the attacks.
It was first observed in 2002, after the proclamation by President George W. Bush. On September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda launched a series of coordinated terrorist attacks upon the United States, killing almost 3,000 people. A year later, September 11 was made a national day of mourning referred to as Patriot Day.
It is a day of remembrance, reflection, and prayer, with a presidential proclamation calling for flags to be flown at half-staff and a moment of silence to be observed at 8:46 a.m. EST.
