What does Earth Day mean to you? This is a question worthy of reflection for each of us.
In the spirit of Earth Day, USD 340 Jefferson West encourages all of us to learn something about the environmental conditions in our neighborhood, city, or region. Creating opportunities to remain knowledgeable about surrounding environmental conditions may inspire individuals to pursue solutions that address specific environmental issues closest to home.
On this School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, the staff and community of USD 340 Jefferson West thanks you so much for all you do! You do more than just drive a bus. Jefferson West High School Track and Field is in DESPERATE need of more volunteers for our Varsity track meet on Tuesday, April 22nd! We were able to pull off our JV meet earlier this week only because most of the upperclassmen and MS track athletes were able to run/work the meet. We will NOT have the ability to do that for this upcoming meet.
This is literally a four alarm fire scenario. If other teams' coaches are forced to run events, there's a great chance they will stop coming to our meet!

Starting April 22, it will be open only during school days and school hours. Personalized refill of planters is also available. Drop off your planters anytime before the sale date and they will be filled for you within 2 school days. All baskets and planters are student creations.

We are happy to report that Lakeside Singers have hit their 200 ticket goal AND THEN SOME! Our total ended up at 250!
After talking with the contact at the Royals, they said we could keep the link open to sell more tickets. So, if you have anyone in mind who might like a cheap ticket to a Royals game and wants to support our Lakeside Singers, feel free to keep sharing!
