THE RESULTS ARE IN!! This assembly is scheduled to follow immediately after the “Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day”; at approximately 8:40ish. Feel free to join us for the walk at 8:15 a.m. and then in the elementary gym for the announcement of the winners! This is a HUGE deal, and we would love to celebrate with our families!
Governor Kelly has proclaimed November 14th, 2023 as Kansas "Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day."
The Jefferson West Elementary students and staff will do a remembrance walk Friday, November 17th to start their day. This will consist of a short walk down Main Street and back to the school. Please send coats, hats, and gloves in case the weather turns cold.
