JWES is kicking off Teacher Appreciation Week with Stumpy's Smoked Cheese!! The food truck will be here from 11-1 serving up all their cheesy goodness! This is open to the public, as well. You will find them on the South side of the school near the tunnel.

❗Let the games begin!! Field Day is Friday, May 12❗
2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders will arrive to the Jeff West Tiger Stadium by 10:30 AM. They will finish up by 12:45 PM and head back to the school for lunch. Kindergarten and 1st grade will arrive to the stadium after lunch by 1:00 PM and be back at the school by 2:45 PM to pack up and get ready to head home.
Please apply sunscreen BEFORE school! Family members must sign in at the north entrance behind the bleachers. Water and snacks will be provided.
It's the last week to purchase wristbands and send in your prize donations! (baked goods (Kindergarten), sodas/Gatorades (1st and 3rd Grade), and movie theater candy (2nd and 4th) can be dropped off to the office by April 21st!!)

Author Bridget Heos will be at Jeff West Elementary School on April 26. Pre-ordered books will be distributed to students before the author's visit. Mrs. Heos will be available for book signings during the event. All of the books are hardcover.
Orders are due by April 7. Late orders will not be accepted since they will not be guaranteed to arrive before the event.
