Please join us for a Veterans Day Celebration this Friday morning in our school gym. Reserved seating will be available for our Veterans and their children/grandchildren. This assembly has always been a big one for us, as the students AND staff look forward to it every year! Come see what they have to say!
4th Grade Grandparent's Day will take place on November 9th.
We invite all 4th-grade grandparents and grand-friends to visit their grandchildren at the elementary school at 1:30 P.M. You may start signing in at 1:15. We will not be able to dismiss your grandchild with you unless we have been given permission (per the slip sent home). We do ask that you only take the 4th grader, as the other grandchildren will get their special time on another date.
We ask that you come back and join us at 7:00 P.M. for a wonderful concert that they have put on for you. If you are not able to make it, just follow the link below to stream it live.

🎃REMINDER FOR HALLOWEEN🎃: All treats that are brought to school, including Halloween treats, need to be store-bought and prepackaged. Please do not open the package to decorate the treats at home. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and for keeping our children safe from food allergies.
The students will be in class learning until 1:45 p.m. Parents can start signing in at 1:30 p.m., but will not be able to go to the classroom until 1:45. Parties will start at 2:00. In addition, we are asking that all parents leave the school building at 2:30 so we can line the students up for the parade. The parade will begin at 2:40. The parade will go down Main Street to the Post Office, turn around, and come back to the elementary school. *The parade will be canceled if it is raining or the temperature is below 45 degrees* For the safety of all the children, following the parade, all students from kindergarten through 4th will reenter the building prior to any parents coming inside. Once the students are safely in their classrooms, we will open the front door and parents may go to their child’s classroom and sign them out.
In accordance with school policies, we will follow the guidelines of NO replica of weapons: firearms, knives, swords, chains, clubs, pitchforks, or anything that could be used as a weapon. No rollerblades will be allowed. No pets of any kind will be allowed. 👻

Thursday, October 26th, Officer Olson and his partner Garp will be joining us for an assembly. This assembly will include topics such as making good choices, saying "no" to drugs, and Halloween safety.
We are asking that all students wear RED on Thursday in observance of Red Ribbon Week. #heedtheroar

Time to start gearing up for Winter Read Night, Tigers! It will be here before we know it, so we are reaching out for our annual donation of frosting and sprinkles. (Please ensure that the sprinkles and frosting containers are sealed) Donations may be dropped off by the front office or sent with your student. We thank you, in advance, for all of your help in making this Winter Read Night a success!
REMINDER - Tomorrow, October 13th is a half day. The elementary will be dismissed at 11:45 A.M. Bus routes will run like normal at that time. Please have your child's transportation ready if they are a car rider. Any changes in transportation will need to notify the school by 11:00 A.M.
