We would like to apologize as we are aware of what occurred regarding "alerts" not getting out to all families during today's early dismissal due to a water line failure. This has been an ongoing issue for Kindergarten through 2nd grade and we have notified our "alerts" system provider and superintendent of such. Please know that we were vigilant about contacting parents who did not receive the notification. Every child is accounted for and got home safely. Again, our sincerest apologies. We will continue to improve. Thank you for your patience on this matter.

Tomorrow night is the big night! Come support the Jr. Weststeppers, and let them show you what they got! Meet us at the Tiger Stadium, before the game versus Hayden at 7:00 P.M.
(Weststeppers will need to report at 6:15, the routine begins at 6:45)
Join us tonight for food, fun and games!! JW School Carnival takes place tonight at the High School from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Calling all Junior Weststeppers!! Forms were sent home last week. The clinic is being held at the High School on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:00 P.M. Make sure you have your forms and fee turned in by Friday, September 15th to receive a t-shirt. If you lost your copy, please call the school and we will be sure to get a new one home with your child.

Booster Club is asking for cake and baked goods donations from ALL grades for the cake walk. (Store bought items ONLY. ie: Cakes, cupcakes, Little Debbie snacks, non-refrigerated pies, doughnuts, cookies, etc.) Thank you so much, in advance, for your contributions to help make this a successful carnival for our students! September Regularly Scheduled Board meeting is this Monday, September 11th at 6:30 PM. Starting at 6 PM is our revenue neutral hearing followed by the district budget meeting at 6:15 PM.

Booster Club would like to request students in all grades to donate cake and baked goods for the Cake Walk. To align with school policy, they request store-bought items only, please. Suggestions: cakes, cupcakes, Little Debbie snacks, non-refrigerated pies, doughnuts, cookies, etc. These can be dropped off at the school office anytime between now and September 15th or can be taken directly to the High School between 12pm-4pm on Saturday, September 16th.
Wristband forms will be going home this week; please be sure to check your child's backpack and return them to the office as soon as possible!

PARENTS!! - Join us on Wednesday, August 30th for an informative parent night. This is the place where all your questions will be answered on student/parent expectations and how we can be our Tiger Best. Presentation begins in the gym at 6:00 p.m. sharp. There will be two classroom sessions to follow.
Daycare will be provided by JAG for children FOUR years of age and UP; check-in begins at 5:30 P.M. You MUST sign your children in from INSIDE the building. There will be two tables. JAG is coming prepared with a water station, popsicles, and snow cones. We can't wait to see you there!!
HS Football Jamboree Time!!!!! Go Tigers! The game time has been changed to 8:00 pm start on Friday Night. Entry donations of Pop, Gatorade, and Juice Boxes of various sizes to be used in the All School Carnival Pop Toss Game put on by the JW Booster Club

Transportation staff are working on providing ice, bottle water and other amenities on all afternoon school bus routes in preparation for the heat warnings for the week. Parents are encouraged to pick up their children or make alternate arrangements for their child who may have underlying health issues. Please reach out to your local building office staff if you are making alternate arrangements. Practice schedules have been amended.
