Cookie decorating, stories from Mr. and Mrs. Clause, games, and hay rack riding will be included!! We can't wait to see you there!

Reminder that Thanksgiving Break is from November 20th - 24. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday. We are thankful for all of our Tiger Families, and hope for full bellies and hearts to each and every one! School will resume on November 27th.

THE RESULTS ARE IN!! This assembly is scheduled to follow immediately after the “Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day”; at approximately 8:40ish. Feel free to join us for the walk at 8:15 a.m. and then in the elementary gym for the announcement of the winners! This is a HUGE deal, and we would love to celebrate with our families!

Governor Kelly has proclaimed November 14th, 2023 as Kansas "Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day." The Jefferson West Elementary students and staff will do a remembrance walk Friday, November 17th to start their day. This will consist of a short walk down Main Street and back to the school. Please send coats, hats, and gloves in case the weather turns cold. Thank you for your support in the first Kansas Ruby Bridges Walk.

Please join us for a Veterans Day Celebration this Friday morning in our school gym. Reserved seating will be available for our Veterans and their children/grandchildren. This assembly has always been a big one for us, as the students AND staff look forward to it every year! Come see what they have to say!

4th Grade Grandparent's Day will take place on November 9th. We invite all 4th-grade grandparents and grand-friends to visit their grandchildren at the elementary school at 1:30 P.M. You may start signing in at 1:15. We will not be able to dismiss your grandchild with you unless we have been given permission (per the slip sent home). We do ask that you only take the 4th grader, as the other grandchildren will get their special time on another date. We ask that you come back and join us at 7:00 P.M. for a wonderful concert that they have put on for you.
