Jefferson West High School Senior, Natalie Thompson’s acrylic painting entitled, “Lavender”, was chosen to represent JWHS at the Kansas Art Education Association Youth Art Exhibit at the Topeka Shawnee County Public Library for the month of March. Senior, Milo Chatham was selected to represent JWHS for the KAEA Harry Hart Scholarship Contest. Youth Art Month Celebration will be held at the Alice Sabatini Gallery on Sunday, March 26th from 1-2:30.

Good Luck to the JW State Wrestling qualifiers. The Girls State WR Tournament is scheduled for Feb. 23rd & 24th. The Boys State WR Tournament is scheduled for Feb. 25th & 26th. Both tournaments will be at the Tony's Pizza Events in Salina.

HS Spring Sports Parents:
The HS Spring Sports Parent Meeting is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 21st, starting at 7:30pm at the conclusion of the IPS Conferences. The meeting will take place in the following locations:
Baseball - Music Room
Track - HS Commons
Boys Golf - Mr. Lawhorn's Room #135
The Softball Parent meeting will be rescheduled later next week due to Coach Jackson's recent surgery. A new message will be sent out to inform parents when the meeting will be rescheduled.
