Students will reach out to a professional (in September or January) to ask them questions about their duties, education and advice as they consider the career. All we need is you and your expertise.

We’re excited to bring our athletes together for Sports Media Day! This event gives our students the opportunity to capture professional-quality photos, videos, and other media pieces that can be used to recognize and celebrate our students throughout their fall sports seasons.
But this day is about more than just pictures—it’s a real-world learning experience for our student media team! Students will gain hands-on experience planning, producing, directing, and managing a media production while creating content that showcases the talent, dedication, and personality of our athletes.

🚌 Morning Arrival/Transportation Schedule
6:40am — Arrive at the high school office if you plan to eat breakfast.
6:50am — All students must arrive to check in at the high school office and submit their lunch count.
7am — Bus departs.
⚠️ Important: Missing the bus because of a late arrival is not considered a valid reason to drive yourself.
Students are required to ride district transportation to and from Highland and Washburn Tech unless prior administrative approval has been granted.
Please plan ahead and arrive on time!
