Our paraprofessionals often assist teachers in classrooms by working with students either in small groups or one-on-one. They work tirelessly each day supporting our students, teachers, and our school community. THANK YOU ALL AND TIGER ROAR!

April Fools' Day has been celebrated for several centuries by different cultures, though its exact origins remain a mystery. Traditions include playing hoaxes or practical jokes on others, often yelling “April Fools!” at the end to clue in the subject of the April Fools' Day prank. While its exact history is shrouded in mystery, the embrace of April Fools' Day jokes has ensured the unofficial holiday’s long life. No foolin'!

The Booster Club Meeting originally scheduled for April 1 has been rescheduled to April 8.
🕒 6pm
📍 Gambino's Conference Room
We hope to see you there! 🐯

Day 1 Update from Mr. Coulson...All 5 attendees took what are called Objective Tests this morning, which help provide a baseline of knowledge/understanding within a certain topic area in the Business realm. We had 2 teams in different categories; Brenna Luety and Brodie Bahr in Business Management, Kylie Allison, Paisley Emanuel, and Carsyn Wellman in Entrepreneurship. These events pull the top 5-7 teams, based on the number of entries, score in order to advance to their in person presentations. Brenna and Brodie have advanced in Business Management beating out 2 teams that previously placed higher at our District Conference (huge news!!!).
While the other team didn't advance in Entrepreneurship, they did present a Business Plan to a panel of judges later this afternoon. They were 1 team of 5 that were pre-judged and picked to present. Of all the times I've seen them practice they truly turned it on when the lights were brightest!!! While we don't know placement out of that top 5 yet, they did all they could do.
Now we will wait until tomorrow morning for Business Management to have their presentation and then it will be on to awards. I'll be happy to sing some praises if some top placements occur, but I'm plenty happy to sing them now as they have represented themselves and Jefferson West with class.
Our FBLA members are attending the Kansas Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference in Topeka today and tomorrow. This premier event is designed to inspire and empower the next generation of business leaders, bringing together high school students, educators, and business professionals from across the state. Attendees engage in a variety of competitions, workshops, and networking opportunities that focus on leadership development, career readiness, and entrepreneurial skills. GO TIGERS!!
