Congrats to the JW Forensics students that earned I ratings at the regional KSHSAA Speech Festival and qualified for state:
Caroline Small, Natalie Meyer, and Aubrey Phillips.
Meyer and Phillips also earned I ratings for a team event.
Bryce Midgley earned a II rating.

The Jeff West vs Sabetha JV Softball game that was originally scheduled for Friday, April 22nd has been cancelled due to Sabetha having an Academic Award Night that several of their players will need to attend. The game will not be rescheduled.
The Jeff West HS Track Team competed at the Perry HS Track Relays on 4-19-22. The boys placed 7th, and the girls placed 3rd. Medalists on the team include:

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Golf team as they won the Southern Lyon County Golf Tournament on 4-8-22 which was played at the Emporia Municipal Golf course. Medaling for Jeff West were Colby Farrant, Sam Brunton and Lake Peet.
Congratulations to Kaden Stones as he has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Barton County Community College in Great Bend, KS.
Mrs. Magill's Biology Class collected and pressed plant specimens which are currently displayed in the hallway. Each plant was identified and labeled with their Scientific Name.
