Our very own Jefferson West High School Marching Band travels today to compete at the Kansas State Fair!
The "Kansas State Fair Band Day," more formally known as the Marching Band Program, features middle and high school bands marching on the fairgrounds and performing at the People's Bank and Trust Arena. The program has a long tradition, dating back to the 1960s, and culminates in a large event where numerous bands compete and march.

On Thursday, Jefferson West SADD hosted over 30 students before school for SAFE (Seatbelts Are For Everyone) training and donuts! It has been a great start to the year to see students come together to say they are AGAINST destructive decisions and to help educate our school and community to buckle up and make the right decisions when tough choices.

Parking is available in the Hummer Sports Complex parking lot, SE of the course. Handicap and bus parking is allowed on the grass area behind the start/finish area near porta potties.
