Valley Falls is hosting their mid-season Boys Basketball tournament this week. Tonight, Jefferson West takes on the Oskaloosa Bears at 7:30pm in the East Gym.
Admission is $7/Adult and $5/Student (K-12). A tournament pass is also available for purchase $18/Adult and $12/Student (K-12).

Before winter break, Jefferson West High School submitted 12 pieces of artwork from 5 talented students to the Scholastic Regional Art Competition. This prestigious competition is open to schools across eastern Kansas, with over 2,500 submissions each year, making for tough competition. This year was no exception, and we are thrilled to announce that 4 of our entries received awards. Of those, 3 were selected for exhibition (Gold and Silver Keys) and will be displayed at Mark Arts in Wichita from February through March.
Both Abigail Smith and Ashley Moser earned awards, and their works will be featured in the exhibition! These are the students who participated, along with their submitted work and the awards they received.

USD 340 Board of Education came together with community members tonight to discuss one of their board goals - Facilities. Administration, members from the district leadership team, facilities team, and several patrons were in attendance while they discussed concerns about our facilities. They also discussed strategies on how to tackle each one of the concerns. On behalf of the Board of Education, we would like to thank you all for your time!
