Winter sports pictures for Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Cheerleading, and Weststeppers are Wednesday, December 6th. They will begin immediately after school. You will receive an order form on Monday at practice. Orders may also be placed online at www.inter-state.com/order. Use order code 79852RA. Please bring all sporting apparel associated with your sport with you to school.

The yearbook has a few spots available first come first served for senior salutes. These advertisements are available until the space is full. Because they help fund the yearbook, the senior salutes are the same price as advertising; checks should be made payable to JWHS. ALL CONTENT including the photo(s), words, and payment are due at the same time to reserve a spot. Spots are not "saved." If all spots are sold when you submit the content, items will be returned. If you want photos returned, please include a SASE. We adhere to copyright regulations, so we don't reprint entire songs, poems, etc. Very brief quotes are permissible. Prices: 1/8 page: $50 - one photo; 1/4 page: $80 - one or two photos; 1/2 page: $140 - multiple photos. ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE SENT TO THE ATTENTION OF LISA SAGE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL.

Jefferson West High School After-Prom Committee is hosting a Totally Tubular New Years Eve Party! It will be held at The Silo, 12/31/23, 7pm-12:30am. There will be a live band and dinner. Basketball FANS!!!! As we begin the 2023-24 HS basketball season, there are some key changes to our beloved game. Need to Knows: 🏀--Team fouls will reset each quarter 🏀--No More 1-1 free throws 🏀--Bonus will always be 2 free throws 🏀--Bonus begins at 5 team fouls 🏀--The scoreboard will only show a max of 5 fouls per quarter The rule change comes from the NFHS for safety reasons and to enhance the flow of the game itself.

On Friday, Nov. 17th we shared well wishes with one of our English teachers as she embarks on new adventures with the K-State Extension Office. Mrs. Roenne, as you begin a different chapter, Jefferson West High School administration, staff, and students want to thank you for being a role model and instructional leader filled with passion and a huge caring heart. Our students were fortunate to have their educational journey enhanced by a teacher of your caliber. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to help others become more.
