Journalism students competed at state KSPA. 3 juniors, including Mellany Roenne, Phiefer Peck, & Rachel Cloud, placed at state. Mellany placed in three events: Photography, News Page Design, & Cutline Writing. Rachel placed in Advertising Design. Phiefer placed in News Writing.
Forensics competitors had a perfect showing at the state festival this weekend. Congratulations to both senior Jocelyn Hartley and freshman Natalie Meyer scored 1 ratings.

The JW JV Boys Golf Team competed at the Rossville 2 Man Scramble on April 26th. Congratulations to Hunter Moser & Tanner Zwygart for placing 3rd, earning a bronze medal.
The team of Jaxon Rowe & Brian Kelly placed 8th, and the team of Jack Cloud & Chase Holman placed 11th.
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Golf Team for placing 1st and the JV Team for placing 2nd at the Big 7 League Quad that Jeff West hosted at Village Greens on 4-19-21.
