Get those hammies stretched out! Only 3 weeks away! Our Jefferson West Education Foundation goal to give out in grants this year is $5,000, so everything we raise will help us create more opportunities for our Jefferson West Teachers and Jeff West Students. This is our last event of the year before we start the application process. We would be honored to have corporate sponsors or individual donations to help us reach our goal! If you are interested, please contact Derek Helton. For corporate sponsors, we will put your business logo on our shirts and you will also receive a Turkey Bowl Shirt! https://www.facebook.com/events/1056049502242758?ref=newsfeed #HeedTheRoar

Be sure to turn your clocks BACK one hour Saturday night.

Jefferson West added a new extra-curricular activity this year, eSports, grades 6-12.
Jefferson West Middle School Tigers currently have the number one ranked Mario Kart team in the Nation! They won their most recent matchups, 2-0, with a combined score of 169-149. The team roster includes Ledger Brown, Abbey Downing, Easton Haid, and Caden Schuetz.
After taking a full look into everyone’s standings, Coach Alan Dick says there’s even more to celebrate. For context, most of these games have thousands of teams or players they are competing against. Rocket League 3 on 3 - Both teams are ranked in the top 100 nationally. Team 1: Max Hunt, Blake Morley-Gunther, and Elliot Cozadd is ranked 25th. Team 2: Kaylee Hammond, Robert Doud, and Madyxx Lindsay-Lopez is ranked 81st. Chess - Lucas Dobbs is currently the 5th ranked player in the nation. Gabe Thomas is ranked 12th! Smash Brothers - We currently have 6 players ranked in the top 100 - Lucas Dobbs (45th), Caden Schuetz (62nd), Ledger Brown (94th), Wyatt Ray (97th), Logan Frakes (73rd), and Cade Arnold (100th). They are doing incredible for their first season and deserve some congratulations!
Thank you, Mr. Dick, for taking on eSports and giving our kids this opportunity!!

Tiger Families!
If you or someone you know is looking to replace a bed, now is the time! The Jefferson West High School Music Department is excited to announce they will be hosting a one-day Mattress Fundraiser.
How does it work?
On the day of the event, we will have a mattress showroom set up for customers to try-out various products. There will be about 25 floor models on display for customers to try. Name brand beds from Simmons, Wellsville, Therapedic, Tranquility, Malouf and more! All models come in all sizes, are made to order, and come with 5-20 year factory warranty. Pillows, adjustable power bases, sheets, frames, and mattress protectors will also be available. Layaway is available as well as financing with special promotions. Best of all, prices are up to 50% less than suggested retail because of the fundraising company's unique business model.
What do you need to do?
Every student/family in the program has just one responsibility – find at least ONE person you know who needs to replace a bed in their home and get them committed to coming to the sale. That’s it! Of course, you can refer as many people as you can, and your student will get money in their student account for every customer you refer who buys a mattress and/or adjustable base!
Because we understand not everyone will be in the market for a new bed right now, this event relies on heavy promoting to your personal network. We need everyone to find at least one person who needs to replace a bed in their home and ask them to come to the event. One of every 10 adults in the United States will buy a new mattress each year, so you know a lot of people who are planning to do so – you just need to talk to them!

Come to Tiger Stadium tonight and enjoy yourself and support a special fundraising event!
