Baseball, Boys Golf, Softball, and Track practices begin Monday, March 3. All athletes must have a current KSHSAA physical and annual Emergency Contact & Acknowledgement Form completed and turned into the office before practicing. Participation Fee is $55.00; Boys Golf is $40. If you have more than one child in the High School who has participated in sports throughout the year, you may be reaching the family max. Spring Sports Practices Begin
The Kansas City Metro Challenger Football League is an organized flag football league for boys and girls ages 5 and up who have special needs. They play in the fall and spring with open enrollment throughout the year. Players from all over are welcome and will accommodate anyone who wants to play. There is no fee to play or equipment to buy. As long as players and their parents are willing to travel to the Heritage Park Football Complex, they will be given a wonderful and safe place to play football. State Wrestling action took place over the weekend in Salina. Jefferson West sent 6 qualifiers - Lucy Henderson, Mya Vetsch, Payge Vetsch, Sophie Waters, Karson Kahler, and Osiris Unruh. They all did a tremendous job in representing Jefferson West proudly!! As a team, the ladies placed 15th and the boys 23rd. Individual placings in their respective weight classes are Payge Vetsch - 4th; Sophie Waters - 2nd; and Osiris Unruh - 2nd. JEFFERSON WEST IS SO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!!!!
