Another great outing for the Lady Tiger Golf Team! Varsity girls took 2nd place and had an amazing score of 349. That is one of the best 18-hole scores in school history. The Tigers were led by Sydney Thompson with an 81 today! Also, it was great to have Larry Kennedy back out on the course!

Tiger Community! Our Jefferson West FFA Chapter is looking for sponsorships for their Affiliate Membership Program. The program provides an FFA membership to every student enrolled in an Agricultural class. Because of the membership, the chapter isn’t able to collect dues from members, and are asking local businesses if they would be interested in donating to the program and the chapter. Any leftover money would then be used to pay for National Convention, FFA blue jacket grants, and leadership development opportunities. Below is the flier explaining the different divisions of donations and what they include. Congratulations to cross country runners on their stellar performance at the Royal Valley meet the week. Men's varsity won the meet! Medalist included: Guy Phillips-1st, Kyle Herrman-11th, Chase Holman-14th, Nick Herrman-15th, Mason McCollum-18th. For the Lady Tigers Medalists were: Aubrey Phillips-4th.

HS VB Parents and Fans! Attached is an image of the current parking and construction areas at Nemaha Central. Notice the construction area in red that is a usual parking lot used by many of our parents. It may be good to arrive a little early to accomodate the farther away parking from the gym.

Attention High School Students!!! Homecoming t-shirts are on sale now! This year's theme is "Country Roads: Take Me to HoCo." Shirts are $10 and may be ordered from Mrs. Sage or Mrs. Martin by Noon on September 20th. No purchases will be available after that.

Tomorrow, 9/15, is Late Start at Jefferson West. Classes begin 1 hour late, and buses will run 1 hour late. The Washburn Tech bus will depart at its regularly schedule time.

Join us at Tiger Stadium Friday as the football team takes on Sabetha. Kick-off is 7pm. Admission is $6 Adults, $4 Students K-12. This is Military Appreciation Night. All former and current personnel will receive free admission to the game, and will be recognized prior to kick-off.
