Our JV volleyball team battled hard in the Holton Tournament on Saturday! They came up short of their goal and were missing a couple of teammates, but they never quit competing today. Way to go ladies! We are so proud of you!

Regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting, Monday, September 9, 6:30pm at the District Office. The budget hearings will be held at the District Office from 6-6:30pm. At 6:30pm, Board President Dave Jensen will call the meeting to order, approve the agenda, and then approve the 2024-2025 budget. The Board will then recess and move to the High School Library to hold the remainder of the regular meeting.

RESULTS: Great day for our JV girls’ golf team! They competed in the West Franklin Varsity tournament at Lamont Hill. They placed 3rd as a team and Dearah Garrett, Ava Morrow, and Julia Thompson all medaled for Jefferson West. Ellie Stowe and Megan Malone tied for the last medal spot but missed it after the tie breaker. Joslynn Sutton also placed in the top 15. Great Job Lady Tigers!!

The JV Lady Golfers placed 2nd as a team at the Seaman Invitational on Thursday. Kinley Harr placed 3rd, and Julia Thompson and Marissa Bell both placed in the top 10. Also playing were Payton Norris and Kylie Allison. Congratulations Lady Tigers!
Jefferson West FFA had their welcome back activity Saturday. They went fishing, ate watermelon, and made great memories!!

The state ranked Nemaha Central Lady Thunder battled it out with us on our home court Thursday night. Although some of the scores don’t show it, our teams played hard and really played very well. There were some long rallys, huge blocks, and amazing kills. They battled all night and never quit cheering each other on and supporting each other. I’m so very proud of this team! Thank you so much to the parents that send videos and pictues!
