After spending the week learning about the Gauchos of Argentina (nomadic cowboys), and their traditional drink Yerba Mate, Spanish 3 students got to try this famous South American drink.
Traditionally made with mate herbs and hot water, you must have a special filtered straw to drink it! It is a drink to be shared among friends!
What a beautiful evening for kickball! Tonight was our chapters first FFA fun night. Members helped prepare and organize the hot dog meal. Members then went to the softball field to play a few games of kickball. Laughter and taunting were ringing in the air. Members had fun and are looking forward to next month’s fun night.
