heed the roar

Every Friday, when school is in session, our Tiger Family celebrates  Family Fridays. This tradition recently started where staff and students reflect on what our core values are as members of the Tiger Family.  Family members are encouraged to wear their Tiger Paw T-shirts on these Fridays.

We also want to share what that means to our parents, patrons, and community members. This week, we explain what #HeedTheRoar means.

"Hear that? It's the whisper of the quiet grind on the practice field. It's a word of kindness from a teacher to a student after a setback. It's doing the wobble, going bananas, and bringing the thunder at home games. The roar is what it means to be part of Jeff West. Students. Teachers. Staff. Parents. Community. United behind the Tigers. Others may not like it, but they learn to give it respect. It can't be stopped. It lives in our hearts and in our lungs. The roar is who we are together.

Join us this year together as we #HeedTheRoar. Heed the Roar
