If you can't make it to the High School Boys and Girls Basketball games tonight vs. Holton, you can watch them here! Tip-off is 4:30pm. The winner of the Jefferson West StuCo Annual Food Drive vs. Holton will be announced between games. Non-perishable food items or monetary donations may be delivered to any of the District buildings. Updated! Sorry Ladies, we missed some of your placings at the tournament. Here is a more complete list of tournament placers. The Lady Tigers placed 2nd at the ACCHS Tournament today. All twelve competitors assisted in the Tigers bringing home a plaque. Way to go Tigers!!!!! The Girls' Team took 2nd Place as a team on Saturday at the ACCHS Tournament. Individual placers were: 4th place - Cheyanne Davis and Kinley Shelman. 3rd place Mya Vetsch. 2nd place - Josalene Schnacker, Kayla Dick and Taryn Taylor. Tournament Champions are Sophie Waters and Payge Vetsch.

Students in the new Health Care class spent two days in CPR and Stop the Bleed Training. Several students were able to become CPR-certified with the Red Cross. JW is proud to help students learn life-saving techniques that can help them in their careers and everyday life.

The Jefferson West High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America held their 49th Winter Formal on December 9, 2023. All FCCLA seniors were recognized and royalty were crowned based on their FCCLA activity level, leadership and community service after being in FCCLA for at least two years. The Winter Formal is not only for recognizing seniors, but for providing FCCLA scholarships to graduating seniors. Back row: Braxdon Penry. Friends and family are invited to attend the Quill & Scroll induction for honor students in the journalism program. The ceremony will occur at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 in the library.

Jefferson West High School StuCo is hosting its annual food drive and making it a friendly competition with Holton High School. The winner will be announced at our home basketball game vs. Holton on Tuesday, December 19th. All items will be donated to God's Storehouse. The Perry-Lecompton FFA Chapter has put together a teddy bear toss for their home basketball game vs. Jefferson West on Tuesday, December 12th, during halftime of the boys game. Please spread the word! All bears will be donated to a local hospital and shelter.

Jefferson West High School After-Prom Committee is hosting a Totally Tubular New Years Eve Party! It will be held at The Silo, 12/31/23, 7pm-12:30am. There will be a live band and dinner. Tickets are $50. Reservations & online payment is required. The event is for ages 21 and over. This will be an epic experience you won't want to miss! Please see flier below for more information.

Remember...Friday, December 1 is Late Start! Busses will run one hour later, classes begin at 9am. The Washburn Tech bus will run as usual.
