The Jefferson West High School Theatre Troupe proudly presents Shrek the Musical! Join Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and all your favorite fairy tale creatures for a hilarious and heartwarming journey full of music, laughter, and a whole lot of ogre-the-top fun!
The curtains rise on Saturday, March 29th, at 7pm and again on Sunday, March 30th, for a Matinee at 2pm. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for Students (Grades K-12). Let’s make this a Shrektacular event!


Wednesday, FFA members attended the poultry and ag mechanics competition. Wyatt Bickel placed 4th and Crayton Holman placed 18th in Ag Mechanics. Following the completion, members ate at Kreme Kup. Well done!!

USD 340 Board of Education came together tonight to discuss one of their board goals - Student Success and Preparation. Administration, staff, teachers, members of site council and the district leadership team put their heads together and discussed strategies to address and better our student success and preparation with board members.

Jefferson West High School Student Council will be hosting its annual spring blood drive on Tuesday, March 25th, 8am to 2pm. We are calling on all able and willing students and community members to join us in this life-saving effort by donating blood! All donors will receive a free t-shirt as a thank you for their contribution.
Students must be 16 years or older to donate. Students who are exactly 16 must have a parent consent form signed prior to donating. Consent forms may be found in the office or in Mrs. Conley’s room. Students who are 15 and under may not donate. You must present a photo ID with your date of birth on the ID.
To participate in the blood drive, simply book an appointment at savealifenow.org/group, and enter Group Code: TPJA, or you may sign up for a time with Mrs. Conley at the High School. For additional details, please contact Michaela Conley at (785)484-3331 or michaela.conley@usd340.org.
