Join us today at Tiger Stadium as we host our annual Varsity Track and Field Meet. Field events begin at 3:30pm, with running events at 4:30pm. Concessions will be available.
Hosting this meet is a tremendous task and we couldn't do it without the support of our Tiger community. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who has taken a portion of their day to help. We are stronger TOGETHER!

Jefferson West Varsity Golfers travel to the Nemaha Central Invite today. Tee-off is 1pm and will be held at the Spring Creek Golf Course. Good luck!

What does Earth Day mean to you? This is a question worthy of reflection for each of us.
In the spirit of Earth Day, USD 340 Jefferson West encourages all of us to learn something about the environmental conditions in our neighborhood, city, or region. Creating opportunities to remain knowledgeable about surrounding environmental conditions may inspire individuals to pursue solutions that address specific environmental issues closest to home.

On this School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, the staff and community of USD 340 Jefferson West thanks you so much for all you do! You do more than just drive a bus. You make our students feel safe, welcomed, and cared for each day. Our roads are safer with drivers like you behind the wheel. Today we celebrate you! Keep up the fantastic work!

Jefferson West JV Golfers travel to the Big East Preseason Tournament today in Holton. Tee-off is 3pm and will be held at the Holton Golf Course. Good luck!

From Sports in Kansas...
Jefferson West (3A) remains undefeated on the year, taking down Silver Lake 10-6 and 19-2 last night. On the night, the Tigers saw 4 home runs from 4 different players: Drew Beilman, Tucker Holthaus, Brady Skahan, and Corbin Mayer. In an extra inning showdown in game one, sophomore Corbin Mayer hit his homer and was followed later in the inning by a Tucker Holthaus grand slam that sealed the 10-6 win. The Tigers move to 15-0 on the year and have now handed Silver Lake 3 of their 5 losses on the year including in the championship of the Silver Lake tournament this past weekend.

From Head Softball Coach Barger...
Thankful to have been challenged and look failure in the face in the first game. Extremely proud of the teams’ response in the second. And excited to see how tonight’s learning opportunity shapes us for our future if we use it right. ❤️🖤
Never back down never what? Never give up!! That’s a split.

Great job to the Varsity Tigers Golf Team, led by Gage Moser with an overall 2nd place finish, the Tigers won the Osage City Invitational! Also medaling for Jefferson West were Daniel Magathan, Jace Coleman and Conner Reich. CONGRATULATIONS!!

Jefferson West Community...
Jefferson West High School Track and Field is in DESPERATE need of more volunteers for our Varsity track meet on Tuesday, April 22nd! We were able to pull off our JV meet earlier this week only because most of the upperclassmen and MS track athletes were able to run/work the meet. We will NOT have the ability to do that for this upcoming meet.
This is literally a four alarm fire scenario. If other teams' coaches are forced to run events, there's a great chance they will stop coming to our meet!
If any of you can clear your schedule to help, please do so!!! Here's the link to signup to help. https://www.signupgenius.com/.../20F0848A8AE2EA3FA7...
Thank you in advance!

Enjoy your Easter Break!
Monday, April 21...Professional Development (NO CLASSES - USD 340 & HCCTC)

We are happy to report that Lakeside Singers have hit their 200 ticket goal AND THEN SOME! Our total ended up at 250!
After talking with the contact at the Royals, they said we could keep the link open to sell more tickets. So, if you have anyone in mind who might like a cheap ticket to a Royals game and wants to support our Lakeside Singers, feel free to keep sharing!
Great work Tigers! Have a great long weekend!
