Jeff West Girl Wrestling team took 3rd place at the ACCHS Tournament on Saturday Dec 21 behind Washburn Rural and Rock Creek.
Mya Vetsch took 4th, MaKinley Shelman took 3rd, Josalene Schnacker took 2nd, while Sophie Waters, Payge Vetsch, and Taryn Taylor all took 1st

Last week, Kasey Jensen, Student Services Coordinator, spent a great day with our sophomores. They had an amazing day exploring higher education at Washburn Tech and Washburn University.
First stop - Washburn Tech! Students toured hands-on technical programs like welding, automotive, and nursing, getting a taste of the incredible opportunities available in the world of trades and tech.
Next stop - Washburn University! Students explored the beautiful campus, checked out the residence halls, and even enjoyed lunch in a college cafeteria.
It was a great experience giving our students a glimpse into the world beyond high school. Who knows? Maybe some of our students are future Bods!
SADD and Spanish Club are sponsoring a teddy bear toss at Friday night's basketball game. Please bring a NEW stuffed animal to toss onto the court during halftime of the boys' varsity game. If your stuffed animal is the one on or closest to the target, you will win a $25 gift card (of your choice)! All donations will be given to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol to help comfort children involved in calls made by officers. Please stop at the table in the commons to register your stuffed animal. If you cannot attend the game and want to donate, please bring your stuffed animal to Mrs. Becker by Friday. ALL ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE!
