Nine great High School SADD members and sponsor Mrs. Becker attended the KS Teen Traffic Safety Conference in Wichita on December 10th & 11th. They heard from many speakers including members of Kansas Highway Patrol, Miss Kansas, Students, Sponsors and Testimonials from family members who have suffered loss due to crashes caused by distracted drivers. They brought home plenty of ideas for next semester, but more importantly, a reinvigorated drive to help influence peers to consider the consequences of distracted and unsafe driving practices.
Please stay safe out there. Buckle up and remember something as simple as a 2-second glance at your phone could cost a life.
